Terms of Use

Last updated: October 10, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and MindGrid ("we", "us" or "our"). They cover your use of the mobile games MindGrid publishes on Google Play (each a "Game"):

  • Block Puzzle: Grid Blast
  • Candy Capy: Capybara Match 3
  • Moonlit Pour: Potion Sort

By downloading, installing or playing a Game you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game. The Games are distributed through Google Play, and your use of Google Play, including payments, is also governed by the Google Play Terms of Service. If these Terms conflict with mandatory Google Play terms for app purchases, Google's terms apply to that conflict.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you play.

1. Who can play

The Games are not designed for children under 13. Moonlit Pour is meant for players aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use a Game only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who should review these Terms with you and approve any purchases. Google Play's parental controls can require authentication for purchases.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and play the Games on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and Google Play's usage rules. We license the Games to you; we do not sell them. We and our licensors keep all rights not expressly granted.

3. Your progress is stored on your device

The Games have no MindGrid accounts and no cloud save. Your progress, coins, boosters, lives or hearts and settings are stored only on your device. They may be lost, and we cannot recover them, if you uninstall the Game or clear its storage, change or reset your device, or your device is lost, damaged or its storage becomes corrupted. One-time purchases that stay with your Google account can be restored (see section 5.4). Leaderboards and achievements in Grid Blast are kept by Google Play Games, not by us.

4. Virtual items

The Games contain virtual items such as coins, boosters, lives or hearts, spins and timed bonuses ("Virtual Items"). You can earn some of them by playing or by watching optional rewarded ads, and buy some of them with real money.

  • Virtual Items have no cash value. They are not money or property, and you cannot exchange them for real money, goods or services outside the Game, or transfer, sell or trade them. When you buy Virtual Items you get a limited license to use them in the Game.
  • We may change, rebalance or remove Virtual Items, prices in coins, rewards, timers and difficulty to keep the Games fun and fair. In some Games these changes can be delivered remotely without an app update. We will not take away a paid item you have not yet used, unless section 8 or 13 applies or the law permits it.
  • Virtual Items you have not used when your license ends, or when a Game is discontinued, are lost, except where the law requires otherwise.

5. Purchases

5.1 Google Play handles payment

All real-money purchases are made through Google Play and its billing system. Google Play, not MindGrid, processes your payment and shows the final price, including any taxes, in your local currency before you confirm. We never receive your card or bank details.

5.2 What you can buy

  • Consumable packs and bundles (for example coin packs) add Virtual Items to the Game on your device. You can buy them more than once.
  • One-time products (for example Remove Ads, or a starter pack or starter bundle) stay owned by your Google account.

Offers may be limited in time or quantity, or available only to some players.

5.3 Remove Ads

In Games that offer it, Remove Ads turns off banner ads and the ads shown between levels on devices where you use the same Google account. It does not remove rewarded ads: they stay available as an optional way to get rewards, and you only see one if you choose to watch it.

5.4 Restoring purchases

One-time products are restored automatically, or with a Restore purchases option where the Game offers one, when you reinstall or use another device with the same Google account. Coins, boosters and other Virtual Items from consumable purchases, and the one-time contents of bundles, are not restored, because they are stored only on your device (section 3).

5.5 Pending and failed payments

Some payment methods complete later. The Game grants items when Google Play confirms the payment, which may be in a later session. If a purchase fails or is cancelled, you are not charged and no items are granted.

6. Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by law or under Google Play's refund policy. Refund requests are handled by Google: Google Play refund policy. If Google refunds or reverses a purchase, we may remove the related Virtual Items or entitlement from the Game.

If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or another country with a similar law, you have a right to withdraw from a contract for digital content. When you buy Virtual Items that are delivered immediately, you agree, as part of Google Play's checkout, to delivery starting at once, and you acknowledge that you then lose your right of withdrawal to the extent your local law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you have for faulty digital content.

7. Ads

Grid Blast and Moonlit Pour are free to play and supported by ads (Grid Blast through Unity LevelPlay with Google AdMob and Unity Ads; Moonlit Pour through Google AdMob). Candy Capy has no ads. Rewarded ads are optional. Banner and between-level ads appear according to in-game rules unless you have Remove Ads. Ads are provided by third parties; we do not endorse the products or services they promote, and your dealings with advertisers are between you and them. How ads use data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • cheat, or use bots, scripts, modified clients, memory editors or similar tools;
  • change the device clock to gain rewards, lives, hearts or timers, or exploit bugs or errors to get Virtual Items;
  • edit, copy or transfer save data to obtain Virtual Items you did not earn or buy;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or modify a Game, except where the law expressly allows it;
  • get around or interfere with ads, purchase checks, consent tools or security features;
  • use a Game for any unlawful purpose, or to infringe anyone's rights;
  • copy, sell, rent, sublicense or distribute a Game or its content, or use it commercially, without our written permission.

If you find a bug or exploit, please report it to [email protected].

9. Intellectual property

The Games and everything in them are owned by MindGrid or its licensors, to the extent protected by law. This includes the code, levels, art (including art and audio created with the help of AI tools under licenses that allow commercial use), music, sound effects, text, the names "MindGrid", "Block Puzzle: Grid Blast", "Candy Capy" and "Moonlit Pour", and the logos. Fonts and other third-party components are used under their own licenses. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property to you. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

10. Third-party services

The Games rely on services from third parties, including Google Play, Google Play Games, Google AdMob, Google Firebase and Unity. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, content or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to them.

11. Availability, updates and changes

We may update, change or suspend a Game, or parts of it, at any time, including levels, difficulty, the economy, rewards, prices in coins and ads. Some updates may be needed to keep playing. Core play works offline, but some features need an internet connection, such as ads, purchases and restores, leaderboards and settings updates. We do not promise that a Game will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Games are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some countries do not allow these exclusions. If you are a consumer, you keep any statutory rights that cannot be excluded, including rights for digital content that is faulty or not as described.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MindGrid is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost progress or lost Virtual Items, arising from your use of a Game, and MindGrid's total liability for all claims about a Game is limited to the amount you paid us, through Google Play, for that Game in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and your statutory consumer rights. If we discontinue a Game, we will give reasonable notice in the Game or on its store listing where practical, and handle unused paid Virtual Items as the law requires.

14. Termination

You can stop using a Game at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your license if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the Game. When the license ends you must stop using the Game. Sections 4, 6, 9, 12, 13, 15 and 16 continue to apply.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where MindGrid is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally.

16. General

  • Changes to these Terms: we may update these Terms and will change the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes we will give notice in the Game or on its store listing before they take effect. If you keep playing after that, you accept the updated Terms.
  • Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Games.
  • Severability: if a court finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest stays in effect.
  • No waiver: if we do not enforce a provision, that does not waive it.
  • Assignment: we may transfer these Terms to a successor, for example if a Game is sold. You may not transfer them without our consent.
  • Language: if we provide a translation, the English version applies in case of conflict, unless local law requires otherwise.
